At LifeSync Health, functional medicine services are offered on a private-pay basis, allowing for longer visits and a more comprehensive, patient-centered approach. Meet Elizabeth 'Liz' Kirt,
MSN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC
I’m Elizabeth “Liz” Kirt, a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with a passion for helping individuals restore balance through thoughtful, integrative medical care. My healthcare journey began as a Registered Nurse and advanced through my Family Nurse Practitioner education at the University of Colorado, where I developed a strong foundation in comprehensive, patient-centered medicine.
Through years of work in integrative and functional medicine, I’ve seen firsthand how closely physical health, emotional well-being, and underlying physiology are connected. This clinical experience ultimately led me to pursue advanced psychiatric training at Johns Hopkins University, further strengthening my ability to approach care with a deeper understanding of the dynamic relationship between mental and physical health.
At LifeSync Health, functional medicine care is rooted in a comprehensive, whole-person approach. By taking the time to understand each individual’s history, patterns, and goals, care is thoughtfully designed to address underlying contributors to complex or chronic concerns while supporting meaningful, sustainable progress toward better health.

Conditions LifeSync Health Treats
LifeSync Health can support you in achieving a balanced life, tailored to your schedule and needs.

Chronic & Complex Symptoms
Ongoing symptoms like low energy, brain fog, or unexplained health concerns can be frustrating. LifeSync Health takes a functional medicine approach to understand underlying factors—including mycotoxin exposure and environmental illness—and support more personalized care.
Infections & Post-Infections
Persistent symptoms after infections or environmental exposures can be complex and frustrating. LifeSync Health takes a functional medicine approach to support recovery from conditions such as acute and chronic Lyme disease, long-haul COVID, EBV, PANS/PANDAS, and other post-infectious concerns by focusing on immune balance and systemic healing.

Immunity & Inflammation
Chronic inflammation or immune imbalance can affect many areas of health. LifeSync Health uses a functional medicine approach to support immune regulation, reduce inflammatory burden, and address environmental exposures such as mold.

Digestion & Detoxification
Digestive and detoxification challenges can impact energy, comfort, and overall health. LifeSync Health takes a functional medicine approach to support concerns such as SIBO, candida, and leaky gut by improving digestion, nutrient balance, and the body’s natural detox pathways to promote resilience and long-term well-being.

Hormones & Metabolism
Hormonal and metabolic imbalances can affect energy, weight, mood, sleep, and overall well-being. LifeSync Health takes a functional medicine approach to support concerns such as perimenopause and menopause, thyroid imbalance, insulin resistance, and sustainable weight management by addressing underlying patterns rather than isolated symptoms.

Mind-Body Connection
The mind and body are closely connected. A functional medicine approach considers how stress, sleep, mood, and physical symptoms reflect underlying physiologic patterns, helping support whole-person balance and more integrated care alongside mental health services.
